1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TerrainPrints, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

TerrainPrints creates custom 3D-printed terrain models from your Strava activities. Our service requires you to connect your Strava account to access your activity data.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You must have a valid Strava account to use our service
  • You must provide accurate shipping and payment information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not use our service for any illegal purposes

4. Orders and Payments

  • All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation
  • Production begins immediately after payment; orders cannot be cancelled once processing starts

5. Shipping

  • We currently ship within the United States only
  • Typical production time is 3-5 business days
  • Shipping times vary by carrier and destination
  • Tracking information is provided once shipped

6. Refunds and Returns

Due to the custom nature of our products:

  • Defective products: Full refund or replacement at our discretion
  • Shipping damage: Full refund or replacement with proof of damage
  • Change of mind: Not eligible for refund once production begins

To request a refund, contact us at support@terrainprints.com within 14 days of delivery.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of your activity data
  • The terrain models are for personal use only
  • TerrainPrints branding and design are our intellectual property
  • Elevation data is sourced from NASA (public domain)

8. Strava Data Usage

Our use of Strava data is governed by the Strava API Agreement. We only access data you explicitly authorize and use it solely to provide our service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TerrainPrints is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Inaccuracies in elevation or GPS data
  • Delays caused by third-party services
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these terms of service
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse our service or systems

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
